Size is great for travel and it heats up quickly. Used in Italy and had no issues with voltage – unlike another woman on our trip who brought her american curler that ended up frying her hair. I have bob-length hair that is fairly thin and this definitely took me longer than usual to straighten my hair, but I expected that with the smaller plates.
